A Model Independent Predictive Control of PMSG Wind Turbine Systems with a New Mechanism to Update Variables

Permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) wind power system with full rating converter configuration is especially suitable for energy applications. Direct model predictive control (DMPC) has led to more possibilities in terms of choice because its straightforward concept PMSG turbine systems high-power off-shore farms. However, due complete dependence on the knowledge, parameter mismatches will seriously deteriorate performances. This work presents a model/parameter-independent method novel mechanism update current/power variations online. The proposed makes use only two measurements from former intervals and selected vectors estimate all candidate present interval. Benefiting this updating mechanism, completely independent parameters state prediction. it still very low calculating requirement smooth variation waveforms. compared classical DMPC. results validate that solution outperforms DMPC deviations, considerably improved robustness.
